Privacy policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026.
At ShadOwn Studio we take care of the data you trust us with. This policy explains what information we collect through shadownstudio.com, what we use it for and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
ShadOwn Studio is a design and development studio with offices in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and São Paulo (Brazil). We are responsible for the data collected on this website. You can write to us at hola@shadownstudio.com or ola@shadownstudio.com.
2. What data we collect
- Data you send us through the contact form: name, e-mail, message and, if you fill them in, company, phone number and service of interest.
- Browsing data: we use Google Analytics to understand, statistically, how the site is used (pages visited, device type, approximate country, traffic source). We don't use this information to identify you.
- Advertising and where your visit came from: if you arrive from an ad, we use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads measurement to learn which ads work and to show ads to people who already visited the site. We also store in your browser where you came from (for example, the campaign name) and receive it with your message if you write to us through the form.
- Spam protection: the form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which analyzes technical information from your browser to tell people apart from automated programs.
- Language preference: we store a cookie with the language you chose so we can show you the site in that language on your next visit.
3. What we use it for
- To answer your inquiry and, if you ask for it, send you a proposal or quote.
- To keep in touch if we start a project together.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising campaigns.
- To protect the site and the form against abuse and spam.
We don't sell or rent your data, and we won't send you advertising without your consent.
4. Legal basis
We process the data in the contact form because you give us your consent when you send it. Browsing and security data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and understanding its use in aggregate.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need for the site to work: our hosting and e-mail provider, Google (Analytics, Google Ads and reCAPTCHA) and Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Google and Meta may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies (Google, Meta). We may also share data if a competent authority requires it by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact data for as long as the conversation or project lasts, and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer.
7. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies (for example _ga), reCAPTCHA's technical cookies, the Meta pixel cookie (_fbp) and the shadown_lang cookie to remember your language. We also keep where your visit came from in your browser's local storage (shadown_origen) for 90 days. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or turn off Google Analytics with Google's official add-on. In Meta's ad preferences you can choose which ads you see. The site will keep working.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, update or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw your consent. Write to hola@shadownstudio.com and we'll reply within the legal deadlines.
Argentina. Data subjects may exercise their right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as set out in article 14, section 3 of Law No. 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), as the supervisory authority of Law No. 25,326, handles complaints from anyone whose data protection rights have been affected.
Brazil. If you are in Brazil, you also have the rights set out in the General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018), including data portability, and you may file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
9. Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the messages we receive is limited to the ShadOwn Studio team. No system is infallible, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Minors
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, you'll find the new version on this page along with its update date.
