Academia Simplia, employee training platform

Simplia Facility Solutions is a certified B Corp that provides facility services to buildings and companies, with staff working at many different clients. It needed to train that whole team, track who completed each course and renew mandatory training on time.

We built Academia Simplia, a training web app. Employees sign in with their ID number or email and a numeric PIN, and can sign up or recover their access on their own. Courses, as videos or documents, are grouped by category (health and safety, wellbeing, environment, company, software, management procedures and incident reports), each showing its progress. Pending courses come first with their due date, and once a course is completed the certificate can be downloaded with its expiry date.

The Human Resources team has its own content manager: it uploads courses, sets folders, deadlines and renewals, and follows training status on a dashboard showing completed, pending and overdue courses by client.

The whole app works on phones, so employees can take their courses wherever they are. It launched in May 2025 and is live at academiasimplia.com.
