About the project
Emiliano López is an Argentine writer of psychological thrillers and dystopian fiction, the author of the novels Suculento and La trampa de la trampa. He needed a site of his own to present his work and sell his ebooks directly, without relying on third-party platforms.
We built a landing page that brings together the catalog, the author's biography and contact details, introduced by an ink illustration of a hooded capybara and the line "Every dark story begins with a drop of ink." Each book also has its own microsite, styled after its cover, with its genres, synopsis and price: red with engraved kitchen drawings for Suculento, black and white with a red brushstroke for La trampa de la trampa.
Readers can request a demo version from any book page: they leave their name and email and receive a personal download link. Purchases happen on the site itself, with a choice of PDF or ePub, discount codes and payment through Mercado Pago or, from outside Argentina, in US dollars with PayPal. Once the payment is confirmed, the download link appears on screen and is also sent by email. The whole site adapts to phones.
The site launched in July 2026 and is live at emilianoele.com.
